I think he was being overdramatic. I don't think he's a convict or ever been convicted of anything. He was friends with former FSU WR Fred Rouse. Rouse was a convict. Prolly the only five star recruit to not be swarmed with offers.

and grades. The two more often than not, go hand in hand. I still don't see the convict correlation. He had more than 3 scholarship offers coming out of juco. Two more that Mike Farrell and he both referenced in articles on Rivals are USC and Cal. Rivals haven't updated their database on his offers since he commited to UT. I don't care if he smoked dope flunked out whatever, as long as he can keep his nose clean for the next two years.
Well just so ya know he didn't really light it up at FSU, at WR he caught 5 balls for 105 yds, but he did play pretty well at KR.
Another plus is he is nearly impossible to guard on Playstation because of his speed.
Do you know if he plans to run track at UT?/
I think he said he's only wanting to concentrate on football. I think the primary reason they got him was special teams too. UT's special team returns have been miserable since the mid 90's.
